Gyms and Spas

If you hate to be away from your supervised weightlifting, cardio-kickboxing or yoga class there's good news. Prague has many options ranging from the YMCA to some of the most luxurious spas and gyms in Central Europe. Here is a short list of some well-researched and recommended places:

Na Porici, 12
+420 2 2487 2040

This large and reasonable priced gym is centrally located and has a babysitting service. All the facilities one would expect at a YMCA are there: free weights and stationary workout equipment, a swimming pool, sauna and massage.

World Class Fitness
Wenceslas Square 22
+420 234 699 100

Located on the pedestrised zone of Wenceslas Square (there is also a branch on V Celnici next to the Marriot Hotel), this 1800 m2 gym has an abundance of Life Fitness and Hammer Strength equipment so there's no waiting around for your turn. The facility is very modern, clean and new. Plenty of group exercise classes are scheduled daily, check their web-site for listings.

Cybex at the Hilton
Pobrezni 1
+420 224 842 713

The largest gym and spa complex in Prague and certainly one of the most luxurious. All the equipment is up-to-date and the facilities very well maintained. In addition to swimming and working out there are many relaxation and treatment rooms. There, you can indulge in various treatments such as Oriental and Swedish massage, mud wraps and heated stone therapy.

You will find that many of Prague's hotels have good fitness facilities. To find out which hotels have gyms etc. why not check out our 'andel3w' web-site where you will find relevant hotels listed under the 'Wellness' category.
