Prague offers all the latest photo equipment and processing services. Film is reasonably priced but expensive
(for Prague) in the tourist hot spots. Perhaps more particular to Prague is the large collections of antique cameras still coming
out of the old communist eras as well and the second world war period. Old darkroom equipment is extremely cheap and widely available.

One stop shopping for a professional photographer: a wider range of film than any other store
in the city, plus tripods, lights, enlargers, second-hand and new cameras. Prices here tend to be a little bit higher than at
a smaller shops, but you pay for convenience. If you are interested in old cameras, check out the second-hand section at
the back of the shop to pick up an old Soviet or East German camera for around 500 Kc, or an entire black and white
developer for under 4,000 Kc. |
